Above on the left is the illegable headstone of my fifth great grandmother Sarah Journegin Fancher, b. 1765 and married to Richard Fancher b. 1756. The headstone to the right is that of Alexander Fancher, b. 1795, the son of Sarah and the uncle of Captain Alexander Fancher killed in the Mountain Meadows Massacre by Mormons on September the 11th 1857.
