SWEN JOHNSON JACOBS, a MORMON SHOOTER AND CLUBBER, was a private in one of the militia platoons in Cedar City; Born: 1823, Norway.
In 1857, Jacobs was an private in one of the platoons in the Iron County militia. He was not listed in the 1859 federal arrest warrant. However, John D. Lee identifies him as present at the massacre.
